Something old, something new

The past year has been one of travel, photography and new schemes. A wealth of photographic material awaits to be posted along with musings on the myriad phases of the Byzantine Empire and it’s traces in modern Istanbul. Finally I got to walk among the ruins of it’s past glory and at the same time fall in love with Istanbul’s bustling yet friendly and approachable Eurasian ways. A place I will return to sooner than later.

For Finnish readers I am happy to announce my involvement in the birth of a new magazine that will hopefully be able to bring something enriching and spiritually edifying to the reading public from all walks of life. The magazine will be launched in October and will cover topics like yoga, travel, healthy living, advanced indigenous cultures and fine art photography etc. If you are a freelance writer and/or photographer interested in contributing, feel free to contact me. In later stages an English language edition will be launched also. More info about this project later.

It is also time to re-activate this blog and share things from along the path that may be inspiring and helpful for all fellow travelers. If you want to write a guest post for this blog that would fit the style and overall theme, you know how to contact me. Stay tuned and please feel free to comment and share links and ideas. Have a great summer season while at it my friends.
